ብርሃንን በመጫን ወይም በመጠቀም ይህንን ደንብ ተቀብለዋል ማለት ነው። ካልተስማሙ መተግበሪያውን አይጠቀሙ፤ ከጫኑትም ማራገፍ ይችላሉ።

Installing or using Birhan means accepting these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app — and if it is already installed, uninstall it.

ብርሃን ሁለት ነገር የሚያደርግ ነፃ የአንድሮይድ መተግበሪያ ነው፦ ያለ ኢንተርኔት የሚነበብ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ይይዛል፣ እና ከቤተ ክርስቲያንዎ የሚላኩ ማስታወቂያዎችንና ሰነዶችን ያደርስዎታል። ምንም አያስከፍልም፣ ማስታወቂያ አያሳይም፣ የሚሸጠውም ነገር የለም።

መጽሐፍ ቅዱስን ለማንበብ መለያ አያስፈልግም። መለያ የሚያስፈልገው የቤተ ክርስቲያኑን ክፍል ለመጠቀም ብቻ ነው።

Birhan is a free Android app that does two things: it carries a Bible you can read with no internet connection, and it delivers the announcements and documents your church sends. It costs nothing, shows no advertising, and has nothing to sell you.

Reading the Bible needs no account. An account is required only for the church side of the app.

• You must be at least 13 to register.
• What you enter must be true — your name and your role in the church especially, because other people rely on both.
• One person, one account. Holding yourself out as someone else is not allowed.
• Keeping your password safe is your responsibility. Anything done through your account counts as done by you.
• If you claim to be a pastor or an administrator, we will ask for a document that shows it.

የማይፈቀዱት እነዚህ ናቸው፦

These are the things you may not do:

• ሌሎችን ማዋከብ፣ ማስፈራራት፣ መሳደብ ወይም ጥላቻ ማስፋፋት።
• ማስታወቂያ፣ ማጭበርበሪያ ወይም ተደጋጋሚ የማይፈለግ መልእክት መላክ።
• ፓስተር፣ አስተዳዳሪ ወይም ሌላ አባል መስሎ መቅረብ።
• ሕገ ወጥ የሆነ ወይም የሌላ ሰው መብት የሚጥስ ጽሑፍ ወይም ሰነድ መጫን።
• የመተግበሪያውን ወይም የአገልጋዩን ደህንነት ለመስበር መሞከር፣ ወይም ያልተፈቀደ መረጃ ለማግኘት መሞከር።
• ራስ-ሰር መሣሪያ ተጠቅሞ መረጃ መሰብሰብ ወይም አገልጋዩን ማጨናነቅ።

• Harass, threaten, abuse or promote hatred against anyone.
• Send advertising, scams, or repeated unwanted messages.
• Present yourself as a pastor, an administrator, or another member when you are not.
• Upload anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to break the security of the app or the server, or to reach data you were not given access to.
• Use automated tools to harvest data or to overload the service.

ማስታወቂያዎችና ሰነዶች የሚጻፉትና የሚጫኑት በየቤተ ክርስቲያኑ አመራር ነው እንጂ በእኛ አይደለም። ይዘቱ የዚያ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ነው፤ ኃላፊነቱም የእነሱ ነው። ብርሃን የሚያደርገው ማድረሱን ብቻ ነው።

የቤተ ክርስቲያንዎ አመራር ማን አባል እንደሆነ፣ ማን እንደሚወጣ፣ የትኛው መልስ እንደሚቀር ይወስናል። በዚያ ውሳኔ ላይ ቅሬታ ካለዎት መጀመሪያ የሚያዩት እነሱ ናቸው።

Announcements and documents are written and uploaded by each church's leadership, not by us. The content belongs to that church and is their responsibility; Birhan only carries it.

Your church's leadership decides who is a member, who is removed, and which replies stay. If you disagree with one of those decisions, they are the first people to raise it with.

Where content is unlawful or breaks these terms, we will remove it once we are told about it.

የጻፉት የእርስዎ ነው። ባለቤትነቱን አንወስድም። የምንጠይቀው በመተግበሪያው ውስጥ ለቤተ ክርስቲያንዎ አባላት ለማሳየት የሚያስችለንን ፈቃድ ብቻ ነው — ለዚያ ብቻ፣ እና ይህ ፈቃድ መልስዎ ሲወገድ ያበቃል።

What you write stays yours. We claim no ownership of it. All we take is the permission needed to show it inside the app to the members of your church — for that purpose only, and it ends when the reply is removed.

The texts inside the app are not our work. They come from open sources, each under its own licence. If you want to republish or redistribute them, the licence that applies is the original source's, not these terms.

Birhan is not on the Play Store; the file comes from this website. The only genuine copy is the one on birhan.online — a Birhan APK obtained anywhere else is not ours and we take no responsibility for it. That is why the SHA-256 fingerprint of every build is published on the download page, so you can check that what you received is what we put out.

ብርሃን “እንዳለ” ይሰጣል። ሁልጊዜ ያለ ስህተት ይሠራል፣ አገልጋዩ አይቋረጥም፣ ወይም ጽሑፉ ከየትኛውም ኅትመት ጋር ፍጹም ይገጥማል ብለን ቃል አንገባም። የመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ጽሑፎቹ ከክፍት ምንጮች የተወሰዱ በመሆናቸው ስህተት ሊኖራቸው ይችላል፤ ሲነገረን እናስተካክላለን።

Birhan is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always run without fault, that the server will never be down, or that the text matches any particular printed edition exactly. The scripture texts come from open sources and may contain errors; we correct them when they are reported.

ሕጉ በሚፈቅደው መጠን፣ መተግበሪያውን በመጠቀም ወይም ባለመቻል ለሚደርስ ቀጥተኛ ያልሆነ ጉዳት — የጠፋ መረጃ፣ የጠፋ ትርፍ ወይም መሰል — ኃላፊነት አንወስድም። ይህ ግን በሕግ ሊገደብ የማይችለውን ኃላፊነት (ለምሳሌ በሞት ወይም በአካል ጉዳት ላይ ያለውን) አይነካም።

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from using the app or being unable to use it — lost data, lost profit and the like. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Unless it is urgent, we will tell you why.

You can leave at any time through Settings → Delete my account. The Bible stays on your phone afterwards.

ደንቡ ሲቀየር ከላይ ያለው ቀን ይቀየራል። ትርጉም ያለው ለውጥ ካለ በመተግበሪያው ውስጥ እናሳውቅዎታለን። ከለውጡ በኋላ መጠቀምዎን መቀጠል መቀበልዎን ያሳያል።

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If a change actually matters we will say so in the app. Continuing to use Birhan after a change means you accept it.

ይህ ደንብ በኢትዮጵያ ሕግ መሠረት ይተረጎማል። በሚነሳ ክርክር ላይ የኢትዮጵያ ፍርድ ቤቶች ሥልጣን አላቸው። ይህ በሚኖሩበት አገር ሕግ የተሰጠዎትን የሸማች መብት አይቀንስም።

These terms are governed by Ethiopian law, and the courts of Ethiopia have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not reduce any consumer right the law of your own country gives you.
